Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Westminster 100 - 130 per day Full-Time Immediate Start Long-Term to Permanent Opportunity

Are you a skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant ready to make a difference in KS2? A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Westminster is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within Key Stage 2, delivering both class cover, then when not leading lessons, providing support in KS2 classes and targeted interventions to support pupil progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality cover in KS2 classes during teacher absence.
  • Supporting teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons.
  • Leading small-group interventions to help pupils meet their academic targets.
  • Assisting in creating a stimulating learning environment.
  • Offering general classroom support to ensure all children are engaged and progressing.
  • Helping pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Monitoring and reporting pupil progress to teachers and senior staff.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a level 4 HLTA or equivalent qualification with prior experience in primary education - experienced Level 3 TAs also encouraged to apply!
  • Be confident in delivering lessons and interventions in KS2.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Have a proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
  • Be passionate about inspiring pupils to achieve their best.
