Role: HLTA in Stockport

Full Time: 5 days per week, 8:30am to 4:30pm

Salary: £18,000 to £22,000

Essential Criteria: Own transport and HLTA experience

The School:

Simply Education is currently working in partnership with an SEMH Secondary School in Bredbury. This SEMH setting provides bespoke learning opportunities for young people aged 7-16 with Autism with associated social and communication needs, trauma and attachment. The classes are small with no more than 6 students at any time; the school focuses on changing students’ mindset and giving their students all the tools to be successful in their future.

The role:

The School are looking for a SEND HLTA with experience of working in a SEN or SEMH setting. Due to location, a full, clean driving license with own transport is essential.

Responsibilities:

Delivering lessons to small classes of around 4-6 students

Building rapport with young people, other support staff and parents

Using computer software; must have strong ICT skills

Promoting equal opportunities and ensuring the safety of all students

Attending regular CPD sessions

Delivering targeted SEND learning interventions
