Academics are seeking an experienced and hardworking HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) with a keen interest in developing their skills in teaching for a school in South Gloucestershire. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to get into teaching and wanting to build confidence in the classroom by delivering lessons and managing behaviour.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality education to children, playing an active role in providing a solid foundation for their academic journey.

The HLTA may cover various classes across key stage 2, supporting lessons across the curriculum. All necessary tools and support will be provided to facilitate lesson delivery and pupil engagement. If you have a particular strength or interest in a specific subject or year group, the school will consider placing you accordingly.

Ideal Candidate:

• Have a degree and/or relevant experience in a school setting.
• Recent experience teaching or supporting in a UK classroom.
• Good behaviour and classroom management skills.
• High expectations for behaviour and outcomes.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a proactive approach.
• Motivated to undertake training and development.
