About the School
Kingsley Primary is situated in the heart of Toxteth. The school community is diverse and it is an exciting place to work! The school takes children from age 2 to 11, with two classes in every year group. These roles are new to the school, and are fixed term in the first instance, however there is scope for a more permanent arrangement, future budget allowing. Those with ambition for a longer term role would be welcomed. You role will be three fold:
1. support the teacher with classroom learning, group work, one to one support and supporting children during unstructured times of the day.
2. Providing both planned and unplanned short to medium term cover for absent colleagues, both teachers and Learning support. In key stage two you will also cover the PE/ Extended school mentor to take groups on competitions, or to cover clubs and teams.
3. Individual aspects of supporting whole school curriculum enhancements as per the specific phase job descriptions attached.
