HLTA - South Manchester:

Join a welcoming, single-form entry primary school community in the South Manchester area as a HLTA. The school prides itself on offering a nurturing environment with a strong commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and staff development. They are looking for a dedicated HLTA to join our enthusiastic team from September.

The Role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

You will:

Deliver high-quality support to teachers and students across various classes
Plan and deliver lessons to small groups or whole classes under the supervision of the class teacher
Support pupils with varying needs across all year groups, including SEN
Create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment
Work closely with staff to enhance pupil's educational experiencesPosition Details:

Position: HLTA
Location: South Manchester
Type of Work: Temp
Minimum Rate of Pay: £130 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Sept 2025
End date: Ongoing, Long-TermExperience, Training & Qualifications:

A valid HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
Strong experience supporting EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Excellent communication, behaviour and classroom management skills
A proactive, flexible and nurturing approach to learning supportTo be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOther
