Teaching Assistant - Level 4 (ADHD & ASC Lead)
Location: Rochdale
Salary: £26,447 - £29,211 per year (NJC Grade 6, Scale Points 19 to 24 - starting point dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible

Aspire People is proud to be supporting a well-respected Secondary School in Rochdale in their search for a Level 4 Teaching and Learning Intervention Lead, specialising in ADHD and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). This role has become available due to an internal promotion and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of neurodiverse students.

The school has recently moved into a brand new, state-of-the-art building which includes a purpose-built SEN department. Prospective applicants are warmly encouraged to arrange a visit to meet the team, view the facilities, and learn more about the supportive and forward-thinking school culture.


The ideal candidate will:

- Have a strong desire to support and empower students with ADHD and ASC
- Bring experience from working in a secondary school or similar educational setting with students aged 11-16
- Have experience planning and leading effective intervention strategies
- Be confident, flexible, and proactive in their approach to challenges
- Work collaboratively as part of a committed team
- Have excellent organisational and communication skills

- Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only
- Salary: NJC Grade 6, Scale Points 19 to 24 (£26,447 to £29,211 actual salary, depending on experience)
