A leading education partner is recruiting a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Wigan. The role involves delivering lessons and supporting learning across KS1 and KS2. This position offers a competitive daily rate and opportunities for professional development.
Hays Education is working in partnership with 3 different primary schools in the Wigan area to recruit a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September 2025. Each of these schools has their own welcoming and inclusive environment. Hays has worked with all 3 of these schools for a number of years now and always receives great feedback from staff placed there. Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HLTA who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality support across the school, including leading whole-class sessions, supporting small groups, and working closely with teaching staff to raise attainment. You will be responsible for working across KS1 and KS2, so you should be confident in working across all year groups. This role also offers a great stepping stone for ECTs, with potential for future teaching roles.
