Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Clacton-on-Sea
Salary: £95 - £115 per day (depending on experience)

A well-regarded primary school in Clacton is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and capable individual who is ready to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Leading small group and 1:1 interventions
  • Supporting pupils' academic and emotional development
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to monitor and assess pupil progress
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Who We're Looking For:

  • A qualified HLTA or experienced TA confident in covering classes
  • Someone with excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A flexible and proactive individual able to support across key stages
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding procedures (enhanced DBS required)
