About the Role

GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our vibrant schools in Stockton-on-Tees. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support to students with a range of special educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to students with SEN.
• Assist in planning and delivering tailored educational activities.
• Support the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and record student progress and development.

The successful candidate will

• Have proven experience as an HLTA with SEN expertise.
• Possess a strong understanding of SEN strategies and practices.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
• Demonstrate a compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
