Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with PPA Cover
Daily Rate: From £100 (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term
Start Date: September 2025 or sooner
Are you an experienced HLTA looking to take the next step in your career? Do you enjoy leading lessons and making a real impact in the classroom?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in Meonstoke (SO32), Portsmouth, to recruit a confident and proactive HLTA to support across the school and cover PPA time for teachers.
Deliver lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 during PPA time using pre-prepared planning
Support classroom learning in collaboration with teaching staff
Provide targeted intervention support where required
Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
A qualified HLTA or an experienced Teaching Assistant confident in leading whole-class learning
Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
A flexible and professional attitude
Previous experience in a UK primary school setting
Competitive daily pay starting from £95
