Academics are seeking an experienced, hardworking HLTA with a keen interest in developing their skills in teaching, to join a 'Good' school in Eastleigh. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to get into teaching and build confidence in the classroom—delivering lessons and managing behaviour.

The successful candidate will deliver pre-planned, high-quality education to students at the school, playing an active role in providing them with a solid foundation for their academic journey.

This role may involve working in various classes across key stage 2, supporting lessons across the curriculum.
You will be provided with all necessary tools and support to deliver engaging lessons. If you have a particular strength or interest in a subject or year group, we will notify the school to place you in the preferred department where possible.

HLTA - Primary - Southampton

You will ideally:

• Have a degree and/or relevant experience working in a school setting.
• Have recent experience teaching or supporting in a UK classroom.
• Demonstrate good behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Hold high expectations for children's behaviour and academic outcomes.
• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team with a flexible, proactive approach.
• Be motivated to undertake training and development to enhance your practice.

You must have a clear Child Workforce DBS registered with the DBS Update Service or be willing to pay for a new one.
