Job Description: SEN Tutor

The school is looking for someone to work on a one-to-one basis with a child with additional needs.

The role will consist of:

• Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN (special education needs)
• Creating a safe environment that allows the children to have fun, learn, and succeed
• Academic support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

The Ideal Candidate:

• Level 4 TA qualified or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience teaching the KS3 mainstream curriculum
• Experience in supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Various locations across South Yorkshire
• Position – Tutor
• Type of work – Tuition – short, medium, and long-term tutoring roles
• Start date – ASAP
• Hours – Flexible between 8:30 am – 7 pm

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide at least two professional references that cover the last two years
