Salary: £95 - £115 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term Supply

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a thriving primary school in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HLTA who can step up to lead learning, provide cover for class teachers, and support pupils across a range of ages and abilities.

• Work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality learning

• Lead whole-class and small group sessions when required

• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

• Contribute to planning, assessment and classroom management

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs (when needed)

• Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Hold HLTA status or be working towards it

• Have solid classroom experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2

• Be confident delivering lessons and providing teacher cover

• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills

• Be passionate about helping all children reach their full potential

• Have a sound understanding of safeguarding and SEND support

• A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement
