Veritas Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a highly regarded primary school in Greenwich. This outstanding school is committed to providing an excellent learning environment where both students and staff can thrive.

Role Details:

  • Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
  • Hours: Part-time, 2-3 days per week
  • Working hours: 8:20 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Location: Greenwich

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as a cover supervisor, delivering lesson materials to KS1 and 2 classes.
  • Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Working with individuals and small groups to support pupil progress.
  • Assisting with planning and delivering activities to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Supporting behaviour management to create a positive and focused learning environment.
  • Supervising pupils during lessons and other activities as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or similar role in a primary school setting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teaching staff.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to supporting children's development and well-being.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work part-time, 2-3 days per week, with full school-day hours (8:20 AM - 4:00 PM).
