Job Opportunity: Support Worker for SEMH Pupils in Mablethorpe

We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join a fantastic school in Mablethorpe, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Job Role:

1. Assess the needs of pupils using detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support learning and establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
2. Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom while supporting pupils consistently, recognizing and responding to individual needs.
3. Encourage pupils to interact and work cooperatively with others and engage all pupils in activities.
4. Promote independence and employ strategies to recognize and reward achievement of self-reliance, such as providing feedback to pupils regarding their progress and achievements.

Working Hours:

08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Thursday; 08:30 to 15:30 on Friday.

Person Requirements:

• At least 2 years of Teaching Assistant (TA) experience.
• Team Teach certification or willingness to obtain the qualification.
• GCSE/Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
• HLTA standards through equivalent qualifications or experience.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
• Provide two professional child-related references.
