We are currently working with an alternative provision based in Leeds that is seeking a Higher Level 4 Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. This role offers variety and requires individuals passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.

Job Description:

1. Delivering primary curriculum content to Key Stage 3-4 learners.
2. Leading small group sessions.
3. Managing classroom resources.
4. Organising educational trips and visits.
5. Adhering to the school's policies on positive behaviour and regard.
6. Ensuring children's safety during crises or heightened behaviours, utilizing strong behaviour management skills and excellent communication skills.
7. Holding a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
8. Celebrating student successes.
9. Participating in therapeutic training sessions and reflecting on challenging periods.
10. Demonstrating commitment and passion for teaching learners with diverse needs.
11. Maintaining a valid and current DBS on the subscription service.
