High Level Teaching Assistant - ASAP Start - London Borough of Enfield

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead lessons, work with small groups, and contribute to the overall development of the school community.

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: London Borough of Enfield

Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
  2. Provide high-level support to teachers, assisting in planning, preparation, and assessment.
  3. Work with small groups of students, tailoring activities to meet their specific needs.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of the school curriculum.
  5. Collaborate with teachers to assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback.
  6. Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Requirements:

  1. Level 4 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (HLTA qualification) or experience as HLTA.
  2. Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  3. Proven ability to lead lessons effectively and support teaching staff.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated teaching team.
