R&A Education Solutions is recruiting confident, reliable and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support schools across Medway, Swale and surrounding Kent areas. We have opportunities across Gillingham, Chatham, Rainham, Rochester, Strood, Sittingbourne, Sheerness, Faversham and nearby areas, with flexible daily supply, short-term and longer-term positions available.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or significant HLTA-level experience in education.
• Experience working in primary and/or secondary schools.
• Ability to lead lessons and support classroom learning.
• Strong behaviour management and the ability to work with diverse groups.
• Experience delivering interventions or supporting small groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning and deliver lessons in school settings.
• Provide general classroom, PPA cover and intervention support.
• Support SEND pupils and 1:1 or small group work as required.
• Work independently while contributing to a wider school team.

What We’re Looking For

• HLTA status or significant experience working at Higher Level Teaching Assistant level
• Experience working within a primary or secondary school
• Confidence leading lessons and supporting classroom learning
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Experience delivering interventions or supporting small groups
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider school team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

We’d also like to hear from experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Cover Supervisors and education professionals who are ready to take on greater responsibility.
