Reeson Education is proud to be working with a forward-thinking special academy in Hampshire to recruit a dedicated HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to support Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) across the whole academy.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HLTA to lead and coordinate meaningful work experience placements and careers-focused learning for students in Year 11 and Post-16.

About the HLTA Role

As a HLTA, you will:

• Support the Careers Lead in delivering across the academy
• Coordinate work experience placements for Year 11 and Post-16 students
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers, colleges, and training providers
• Lead vocational profiling and careers guidance interviews
• Organise enrichment events such as college visits and destination fairs
• Monitor student progress and set meaningful targets
• Conduct risk assessments and planning meetings for placements
• Promote inclusive practices and support employers in understanding student needs
• Maintain resources and contribute to Gatsby benchmark evidence
• Track student destinations for up to 5 years post-graduation
