Two are wheelchair users and require support all the time due to health needs. There is a separate bedroom for staff who stay overnight. You will work as part of a team on a flexible rota. The location is accessible by public transport and has parking for night staff.]

Your responsibilities as a Support Worker:

  • Assist individuals with shopping, including clothes and food, and meal preparation.
  • Help with housework such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Support individuals in accessing education, employment, and leisure activities, encouraging participation.
  • Assist with managing personal finances.
  • Support travel arrangements and holidays.
  • Provide personal and intimate care, including toileting, feeding, and dressing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external parties, maintaining trust through honesty and openness.
  • Maintain written records and use IT systems for support plans, financial info, and health and safety documentation.
