Job summary

A leading Gas company based in South London is seeking an HIU Engineer/Commercial Plumber for a permanent position. The role involves maintenance of Heating Interface Units (HIUs) and plumbing tasks including installation and repair of heating systems. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ L2 in Plumbing & Heating and a full UK Driving Licence. A company van and fuel card are provided, along with competitive benefits including 25 days annual leave.

Daniel Owen is currently working with a leading Gas company and is seeking HIU Engineers/Commercial Plumbers to join them on various contracts.

In this role, you will carry out maintenance on HIUs and assist with plumbing tasks within properties, such as radiators, cylinders, and rectifying heating and hot water issues.

If you haven't worked with HIUs before but have experience with communal/district heating, please still apply.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance to HIUs
• Maintain heating systems
• Install, maintain, and repair pipes and fixtures (e.g., radiators, cylinders, 3 port valves)
• Diagnose faults and replace central heating components in properties served by communal systems

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating
• Experience with HIUs (desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in social housing is desirable but not essential
