Job summary

Valoris Group is seeking an experienced HIU Engineer to support installations, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of Heat Interface Units across London and the surrounding region.

This role requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and a customer-focused approach to delivering high-quality residential and commercial HIU solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with HIUs or HVAC systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Relevant HVAC qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain HIUs and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance for system reliability.
• Provide clear communication with clients and site teams.
• Accurately record job details in line with company processes.
• Participate in on-call rota as required.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and related equipment
• Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively
• Complete planned preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability
• Provide clear, professional communication with clients and site teams
• Accurately record job details in line with company processes
• Take part in the on-call rota as required

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience working with HIUs or within the wider HVAC sector
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload
• Relevant technical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, HVAC training) preferred
