We are looking for a History Teacher who...

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• Has proven experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and 4. Key Stage 5 (A-Level) experience is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs (Early Career Teachers).
• Can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
• Is committed to student progress and the implementation of effective strategies to raise attainment.
• Possesses excellent classroom management skills and can create a positive and respectful learning environment.
• Is a skilled History Teacher, with a demonstrable passion for the subject and the ability to communicate that enthusiasm to students.
• Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
• Is able to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality History lessons.
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress.
• Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Creating a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
• Liaising with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
• Uphold the safeguarding of pupils.
