About the Role

The successful candidate will be a qualified History Teacher with experience teaching KS3/4 and 5. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and a passion for bringing history to life for students. They will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver high-quality History lessons to KS3/4 and 5 pupils
2. Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching resources
3. Work collaboratively with other History teachers to ensure consistent and high-quality teaching
4. Assess and track student progress to ensure that all students are making good progress
5. Support students in their academic and personal development
6. Contribute to the wider school community

Qualifications and Experience

1. Qualified History Teacher (QTS or PGCE)
2. Experience teaching KS3/4 and 5 History
3. Strong understanding of the History curriculum
4. Passion for History and the ability to bring it to life for students
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work collaboratively with others
7. Commitment to providing all students with the opportunity to succeed

Salary

The salary for this History Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
