We are currently seeking a passionate History Teacher to join the team in January.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will have the opportunity to teach students up to GCSE level, with the potential to teach A-Level History depending on your experience.
Key Responsibilities: Teach History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach A-Level History for the right candidate.
Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the school’s objectives and national standards.
Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development and achievement.
Utilize assessment data to inform your teaching, address learning gaps, and offer individual support to students.
Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the department and school.
Participate in the broader school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching History in secondary schools.
A solid understanding of the national curriculum for History.
A Bachelor’s degree in History or a related field (desirable).
