We are currently seeking a passionate and committed History Teacher to join a secondary school in the Bournemouth area. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the chance to inspire students to think critically about the past and its relevance to the present.
You’ll be joining a collaborative Humanities department where subject knowledge and pupil engagement are valued. As a History Teacher, Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Planning and delivering a broad, balanced History curriculum
- Supporting students' academic and personal progress
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom
- Creating an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
Requirements
The desired History Teacher will have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- A degree in History or a related subject
- Experience teaching History to KS3 and KS4 students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for subject knowledge and pupil development
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
