The successful candidate will deliver a dynamic curriculum from Key Stage 3 to A-Level, fostering a deep appreciation for historical knowledge, critical inquiry, and independent thinking.

Key Responsibilities
Teach History across KS3 KS5, including preparation for GCSE and A-Level assessments
Inspire pupils through engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, historical analysis, and academic debate
Contribute to a thriving department with a strong tradition of extracurricular enrichment
Support whole-school events, including history-themed activities, trips, and competitions
Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback and intervention as required
Candidate Profile
A degree in History or a related subject
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching History across key stages, ideally up to A-Level
A passion for academic challenge and a commitment to promoting historical literacy
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including co-curricular activities
