Your Role as a History ECT

  • Plan and deliver engaging and rigorous History lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Encourage students to think critically about historical events, sources, and interpretations.
  • Work closely with an experienced mentor and participate in regular training to refine your teaching practice.
  • Inspire a passion for historical inquiry, debate, and research.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as history clubs, trips, and guest speaker events.
