Person Specification

Essential:

  • A strong academic background with a degree in History or a related discipline

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching History across KS3 KS5, ideally in a selective or independent setting

  • A passion for engaging boys in academic discussion and historical thinking

  • Excellent communication skills and high standards of professionalism

Desirable:

  • Experience with Oxbridge/academic extension programmes

  • Interest in leading trips, clubs, or competitions related to History
