Job description

The School:

ANZUK Education is working exclusively with a highly performing school near Reigate, Surrey. The school was last rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and features purpose-built facilities for Technology, Science, Arts, and Sports.

The role of a History Teacher:
  1. Teach history up to KS5.
  2. Assist in developing programmes of study, materials, and schemes of work, and participate in professional development.
  3. Take on the role of form tutor.
  4. Assess and report on student progress to students, colleagues, and parents.
The ideal History Teacher will:
  1. Hold a teaching qualification with QTS or equivalent.
  2. Be an engaging educator capable of facilitating rich discussions around culture and history.
  3. Possess strong behaviour management skills.
  4. Be able to differentiate lessons to accommodate various learning needs.
  5. Be a team player, contributing to the Department and the wider school community.
