Job Description:

An Outstanding mixed school in Enfield requires a dedicated History Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. The ideal History Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a passionate History Teacher ready to start immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
  • Prepare students for assessments and exams.
  • Develop students' understanding of historical concepts and analytical skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback.
  • Contribute to history resources development.
  • Organise and lead history-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History.
  • Proven secondary teaching experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for history.
  • Excellent communication skills.
