Position: History Teacher
Location: Near Shirley, Southampton
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Potential for Permanent Placement)
Pay Range: £160 - £240 per day (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

An established secondary school near Shirley, Southampton with a Good Ofsted rating is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, long-term opportunity has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will be teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4, within a supportive Humanities department that values high academic standards, creativity, and student engagement.

• Deliver well-planned and engaging History lessons to students in KS3 and KS4.

• Inspire a love for History and develop critical thinking and analytical skills in students.

• Differentiate lessons to support learners of varying abilities.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop resources and share effective strategies.
