A forward-thinking secondary school in East Oldham is seeking a qualified History teacher to join their Humanities team from September. The History department is well led and benefits from subject-specific CPD, planning time, and collaborative curriculum development sessions. Pupils study an ambitious curriculum that includes depth and thematic units at Key Stage 3 and the AQA GCSE specification at Key Stage 4. The subject is popular and frequently oversubscribed at GCSE.

Classrooms are well-equipped and part of a designated Humanities corridor, which includes break-out areas used for enrichment, catch-up and intervention sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
