A well-resourced and inclusive secondary school in Barking is seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for a teacher with a passion for History and a commitment to high-quality education.
Salary: Inner London MPS/UPS – £36,745 to £56,959 per annum (based on experience)
About the role:
Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 may be available depending on experience).
Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Contributing to a positive school culture that values academic success and personal growth.
Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum design and extracurricular opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in History or a related subject.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
