Teaching Personnel seeks a passionate History Teacher to support a secondary school in Ashford, Kent. The role involves delivering engaging History lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to curriculum development. Applicants must hold a degree in History or related field and be fully qualified teachers with UK QTS.
Teaching Personnel is excited to support a respected secondary school in Ashford, Kent in recruiting a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with engaging and thought-provoking History lessons.
You will be responsible for delivering stimulating History lessons that develop students’ understanding of past events, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Encourage students to engage with historical concepts through enquiry, discussion, and analysis.
Monitor and assess student progress regularly in line with school and exam board expectations.
Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular opportunities within History.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with UK QTS is essential.
Degree in History or a related subject.
Experience teaching History at secondary level.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
