Duties as a History Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise and deliver pre-prepared History lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.

• Engage students in historical topics, helping them remain focused and on task.

• Maintain good classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies.

• Support students with their understanding of historical content and assignments.

• Provide feedback on student progress to the History department.

• Assist with exam invigilation, revision sessions, or general cover across the school if required.

Ideal History Cover Supervisor:
