Job summary

Country House Weddings Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at St Audries Park, a prestigious wedding venue in Somerset. You will support the maintenance supervisor, perform repairs, decoration, grounds upkeep and safety checks to ensure the venue is pristine for every wedding.

The ideal candidate has hands-on skills, a proactive attitude and at least 3 years of maintenance experience, with a willingness to work on-site and help with event setup.

Qualifications

• Maintenance: 3 years (required).
• Practical, hands-on skills across repairs, decoration and grounds work.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and/or electrical tasks is desirable.
• Ability to complete Health and Safety checks and keep records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned and responsive maintenance tasks.
• Carry out repairs and decorating as needed.
• Maintain grounds and ensure safety checks are up to date.
• Support event setup and ensure venues are ready for weddings.
