Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Biomedical Scientist to join their team. This role requires a Biomedical Science Degree and IBMS post-graduate Specialist Diploma, along with at least five years of post-registration experience.   • Completion or partial completion of IBMS registration portfolio (B5)
Experience

  • At least 5 years post registration experience
  • Staff management experience
  • Experience working with complex, specialist equipment
  • Experience of Pathology IT systems
Desirable criteria
  • Experience working in an acute trust
  • Experience of working in a busy Microbiology Laboratory
Skills and knowledge

  • Able to work as part of a team and independently
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Health & Safety regulations and governing bodies
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Ability to work to SOPs, review and contribute to their implementation
