Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking motivated HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists for Band 6 Annex 21 posts in Cellular Pathology, Edinburgh. The roles involve rotation through all histology areas, including Immunohistochemistry, with on-call duties and support for professional development.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required and essential.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all aspects of the service including routine histology laboratories and Immunohistochemistry.
• Participate in the Pathology out of Hours service, including on-call and Public Holidays; join the current rota after competency.
• Support IBMS Specialist Diploma Portfolio progression and in-house training within the annex 21 framework.
