Job Description for a Full Time Housekeeper Based in Muswell Hill, London

Position: Permanent

Job Reference: MD756

Job Title: Full Time Housekeeper

Location: Muswell Hill, North London

Number of Children: None

Pets: Indoor only Persian cat

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience

Holiday: Statutory Paid Holiday

Start Date: ASAP

Hours Required: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm

Driver: Yes, and must have own car to be able to drive to Oxfordshire

Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Housekeeper with a calm demeanour who is reliable, meticulous, and proactive. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative and take ownership of ensuring the home runs smoothly. Strong communication skills and a good command of the English language are essential.

Duties to include:

  1. Complete care and cleaning of the home
  2. Laundry and ironing to include bedding
  3. Organising cupboards and wardrobes
  4. Running errands
  5. Pet care for the indoor Persian cat - feeding, changing the litter, grooming etc.
  6. Doing online food shopping, Google research etc. (family will provide a laptop to use)
  7. Cleaning of the home in Oxfordshire when required (1hr 10min drive away)
