Are you a Hire Desk Controller with managerial experience looking to advance your career into a senior role in a mobile position, primarily covering depots in the Southwest of England with occasional travel to other depots?

Join a leading plant and heavy construction machinery provider with numerous depots across the UK. With 25 years of experience and a team of highly skilled engineers, we are seeking a Hire Desk Controller to ensure smooth operations nationwide.

In this role, you will manage hire desks across all UK depots in a mobile capacity. Most travel will be within the Southwest, with occasional visits to other depots. You will be responsible for maintaining operational standards and monitoring workshops across the UK.

This position is suitable for a Hire Desk Manager with managerial experience aiming to progress into a nationwide role, overseeing a team of Hire Desk Controllers with regular visits.

The Role

• Weekly travel across the Southwest, with occasional UK-wide travel
• Manage a team of Hire Desk Controllers, helping to meet targets and oversee daily operations
• Develop client relationships and manage accounts
• Assist with resource allocation across the business
• 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours

The Person

• Senior Hire Desk Manager experience
• UK driving license and willingness to travel
