Job Description

The Company:

Davies Crane Ltd is one of the largest independent Crane Hire Companies in Wales with a varied fleet in excess of 100 vehicles. Established in 1979, we continue to grow through our reputation and ‘can do’ attitude. We now have a vacancy for a Hiredesk Controller / Logistics Coordinator to work out of our Carmarthen depot.

Requirements:

Candidates with Hiredesk or Logistic Coordinator experience.

It is essential that you are able to demonstrate the skills below:

  1. Exceptional communication skills.
  2. Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
  3. Accuracy and precision in your work.
  4. Microsoft Office knowledge.
  5. Ability to give and receive instruction.
  6. Problem solving.
  7. Able to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Answering incoming calls/emails to take on/off hires and enquiries.
  2. Producing quotations and processing orders.
  3. Scheduling and organising plant and personnel.
  4. Inputting hires onto computer systems and processing related paperwork.
  5. Raising orders to suppliers and managing hired in plant and equipment.
  6. Liaising with and supporting other hire desk personnel across other depots.
  7. Investigating and resolving any customer queries.
  8. Provide asset information for the cranes and personnel when required.
  9. Developing and maintaining knowledge of the equipment for hire.
  10. Conducting additional ad-hoc duties as required.
  11. Supporting the depot manager in the day to day running of the depot.
  12. Following all company procedures and policies.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience)
