Brandon Hire Station, part of Vp plc, is seeking a proactive Hire Controller to join our branch team. You will be the first point of contact for customers over the counter and by phone, driving revenue and delivering excellent service.

Based in the West of England region, this on-site role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a valid driving licence. We offer a competitive package and extensive staff benefits.

• Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service.
• Commercial mind-set and aware of importance of service delivery.
• Effective communicator with ability to influence and empathise.
• Good attention to detail and IT skills.
• Knowledge of local area.
• Valid driving licence.
• Knowledge of hire industry desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of equipment desirable not essential.

Aufgaben

• Ensure vehicles are always loaded safely and in line with company procedures.
• Responsible for appropriate branch presentation.
• Carry out daily compliance and H&S checks, as directed.
• Assist and attend stock takes as required.

• Be the first point of contact for customers over the counter & on the telephone

• Cover deliveries and collections when essential to business demands
