Job summary

Speedy, the UK’s leading hire provider, is recruiting a Hire Controller in Liverpool. You will coordinate the end-to-end hire process from order to delivery and collection, liaising across the depot to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role is desk-based, with regular cross-department collaboration, stock coordination, and a focus on delivering excellent service. Flexible working and development opportunities are offered within a supportive team.

• Driving licence.
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or similar sales or operational role.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot teams to ensure customer needs are met and service is satisfactory.
• Work closely with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays and ensure equipment is available.
• Operate desk-based and interact with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Job Title - Hire Controller

Location - Liverpool

Salary - £29,572 per annum, pro rata

Based in the depot, the Hire Controller is a vital part of operations on the front line of sales and customer service. Relationship building is the key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they’re satisfied with our service.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with the other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer with readily available equipment and close contact.
