Job summary

Salford Council is seeking a proactive Traffic & Transportation professional to join our team. You will handle day-to-day requests, maintain project knowledge, and ensure service delivery in line with policies and legislation.

You will oversee Revenue Maintenance Budget, supervise Traffic Land Charge Searches and Street Naming/Numbering, acting as the primary contact and supporting senior colleagues in meetings and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Passport/ID and right to work in the UK, plus proof of address.
• Qualifications/registrations if applicable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to requests for the Traffic & Transportation service and maintain knowledge of projects, policies, procedures and statutory legislation to support service delivery.
• Oversee Revenue Maintenance Budget and supervise the Traffic Land Charge Searches Service and the Street Naming and Numbering function.
• Act as a professional primary point of contact for the service in writing, email, telephone and face to face, and support senior team members at meetings.
