Are you looking to fast track your career as a CAD technician, with a leading civil engineering consultancy?

Do you want the chance to join a company that prides themselves on rapid development, progression and opportunities for promotions to senior roles?

This transport consultancy, established for over 20 years, works on a number of small and large scale projects across the country with clients such as Taylor Wimpey, John Lewis, Mace and local councils. The company has recently opened a new office and is looking to expand their workforce as they take on more projects.

On offer is the opportunity to become a fundamental asset to this growing consultancy. You will be working as a member of the transport planning team, assisting with the production of highway designs including calculations, drawings and specifications adhering to relevant local and national highway standards. You will also be responsible for preparing designs and drawings for new roads, streetscape improvement schemes, and new infrastructure projects.

The role:
  • Designing and implementing highway design solutions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and key clients
  • Preparing reports, drawings, schedules, cost estimates, and assisting with financial reports
The person:
  • Any knowledge in CAD and an interest in Transport Planning
