Job summary

Carrington West in Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced Highways Site Supervisor for a full-time contract.

You will oversee highway maintenance works, ensure health and safety, manage construction activities, and assist with CDM duties, inductions and site rules.

This role offers flexible working arrangements and a daily rate of £350 under a 3-month contract, with driving licence required and SSSTS/SMSTS or NRSWA qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• SSSTS or SMSTS certification required.
• NRSWA Supervisor qualification required.
• Valid driving licence (clean).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself, the workforce and the public in accordance with SHE processes and procedures.
• Managing and administering the construction works in accordance with the contract
• Assisting with the implementation of the duties of the Principle Contractor under CDM.
• Assisting with the implementation and ongoing compliance of the Construction Phase including inductions, and site rules.
• Pre start checks. This includes checking and documenting all PUWER and LOLER items, welfare is adequate and fit for purpose, spill kits are present etc.
• Assisting with the implementation and ongoing compliance of all relevant Risk Assessments (to cover every task on site), Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work and Point of Work Risk Assessment/Daily Brief documents.

Are you an experienced Site Supervisor looking for a new challenge?

An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Site Supervisor with experience in highway maintenance and improvements to join a client in Northamptonshire. This is a full-time contract position. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Your main duties include:

• Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself, the workforce and the public in accordance with SHE processes and procedures.
• Managing and administering the construction works in accordance with the contract
