A leading engineering firm based in Swindon is seeking a Site Engineer for a long-term project focused on highways and town centre regeneration. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction works, ensuring the accuracy of calculations, and maintaining quality control on-site. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and knowledge of survey equipment, AutoCAD, and 3D Modelling.

The Site Engineer will manage parts of construction projects, oversee civil engineering works, undertake surveys, setting out and maintain control, and ensure technical designs and drawings are followed correctly.
As Site Engineer your duties will include:
- Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site.
- Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Ensuring all materials used and work performed meet specifications.
- Making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
- Resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other problems.
- Efficient deployment of company resources, with an understanding of output and project efficiencies.
We will require the successful Site Engineer to hold the below experience:
- Skilled in the use of all survey equipment, with accurate setting out abilities.
- Experience with Plant GPS.
- Experience with AutoCAD and 3D Modelling.
- Understanding of ITPs and Quality Control.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Minimum 2 years in a similar discipline.
