Site Agent - Highways & Drainage | Weston-super-Mare

My client is recruiting for a Site Agent to deliver a highways scheme in North Somerset. They are a leading civil engineering organisation, delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the site team and ensuring values are lived and upheld daily.
  • Managing the contract and agreed programme of works for the drainage package.
  • Driving compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Promoting a strong health and safety culture - ensuring everyone goes home safe, every day.
  • Guiding and mentoring site teams on best practice and value-driven processes.
  • Overseeing the financial performance of the project in close collaboration with the commercial team.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Strong highways, CDM, and engineering knowledge with proven experience in drainage or similar civil engineering disciplines.
  • Previous experience with tier one contractors on highways or infrastructure projects, ideally including slab and kerb laying, town centre works, or junction improvements.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Good IT skills and working knowledge of NEC/ICE contracts.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
