Highways Road Worker at Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council

Join our team as a Highways Road Worker based at Taylors Lane, Oldbury. This role involves the construction, maintenance, and repair of highway infrastructure, including verges, footways, carriageways, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out construction, maintenance, and repair tasks on highway infrastructure.
• Participate in Winter Maintenance and Emergency Call-Out services.

Requirements

• Street Works (HAUC(UK)) qualified to Operative level and registered on SWQR.
• Willing to undertake Class 2 LGV driving license.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction and maintenance of highway infrastructure.
• Experience dealing with the public and external organizations.
